Performing data analytics using the IWA software
The software iwi® Analyzer (IWA) was developed to approximate flight path information automatically based on minimum two different witness observations and/or videos. The software is used by iwi® experts to perform the expert assessment to feed the report with the results of the reconstruction.
Different functionalities and data import/ export ensure the necessary flexibility to serve different kind of accident scenarios. The results can be exported as Google-Earth file, so that the results with different kind of information can be individually visualized.
The software is not sold/provided externally, only used by the iwi® experts to perform the expert assessments to feed the report with the results of the reconstruction. The software is able to export all information to Google-Earth file, so that the customer can visualize the scenario with the result of the approximated path including the error path, the witness positions with taken fotos on site and witness lines of sight.
The software allows the visualization of different perspectives (external and cockpit view).
Terrain data can be imported for all areas around the world. Satellite images with high resolution can be overlayed. Available radar and flight data can be imported and visualized.
Witness statements / video recordings are imported into 3D environment and flight reconstruction is peprformed based on lines of sights.
The reconstructed accident scenario can be exported to Google Earth as kml and to IWR.
